When we discovered this house, its discreet charm and its privileged location, we were won over. The light flooding in, the garden, the view of the hillsides... We enthusiastically restored it to offer it a new life with all the necessary comforts. Every decorative choice, every piece of furniture has been designed to create a warm atmosphere where you immediately feel at home.

Le Cémarose was born from this desire to share an authentic and comfortable place to live to discover the Champagne region, from Reims to Epernay, passing through the wine-growing villages which make our exceptional region world-renowned: Hautvillers , Ay-Champagne , Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Sacy, Avize, Fleury-la-Rivière, Verzenay, Chatillon sur Marne and many others.

The 80 m² cottage is spread over two levels. At the entrance, a vestibule provides a space for hanging coats and luggage. You then enter the bright living area where the kitchen, dining room, and living room coexist harmoniously.

The decor is both retro and contemporary, skillfully blending a few modern pieces with second-hand furniture. Upcycled lighting adds a personal touch, creating an ambiance that's both contemporary and timeless.

An open and well-equipped kitchen for convivial moments

The open kitchen is perfectly equipped for those who love homemade meals: oven, dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer and even three types of coffee makers to suit all tastes (Bodum plunger, classic filter or Senseo pod machine). The central table offers a slightly raised snack-style seating area, illuminated by pendant lights that diffuse a lovely amber light, warming the atmosphere.

In the living room, the relaxation area can comfortably accommodate 6 people. The forest wallpaper is eye-catching and creates a unique style. A connected Smart TV gives you access to all French channels and streaming platforms (Netflix, etc.). A little extra: a turntable with Bluetooth connectivity and a portable speaker.

Upstairs, three tastefully decorated bedrooms await you:

• The "Confidence" bedroom is flooded with morning light. A rustic wallpaper hangs on the wall. Linen curtains paired with an iridescent white sheer curtain envelop the room. The "Fleur" white linen pendant light (a French creation from Cathy's workshop in Nancy) completes this soothing decor. Landes pine flooring and a queen-size bed (160x200 cm).

• The "Twilight" room, overlooking the garden, offers a bohemian style . Soft shades and elegant spring patterns create a reassuring cocoon. A wall shelf allows you to settle in with a laptop. This room can accommodate a baby bed. "Flower" pendant light in terracotta linen (French design), Landes pine parquet flooring and a queen-size bed (160x200 cm) .

• The small "Pépite" bedroom is inspired by the delicate texture of gold leaf . It is the ideal room to accommodate 2 children or 2 adults who can put the 2 single beds (80x190 cm) together. Upcycled vintage pendant light in Clichy glass (French creation, Gaëlle's workshop in Lyon) and Landes pine parquet.

Each room has high-end bedding (French 4-star hotel range) to guarantee you restful nights., with memory foam mattresses, cotton satin bed linen, and eco-friendly duvets made from recycled fibers. Our customers often ask us the brand of bedding before they leave.

Two practical and contemporary bathrooms

The cottage features two bathrooms with two toilets. The ground-floor bathroom features a high-quality walk-in shower (90x90 cm), a toilet, and a contemporary vanity unit. The mineral-look decor creates a relaxing space.

A small bathroom is located upstairs. It includes a toilet, a hand basin, and a sliding corner shower (80x80 cm). This is a welcome addition when there are six of you and everyone is rushing to get ready for a nice restaurant or a Champagne getaway.
